3rd Arrondissement: Eglise Saint Nicolas des Champs and Musée d'art et d'histoire du Judaisme

The 3rd arrondissement is one of the districts I have become most acquainted with this summer. We have spent a significant around of time in the area, because our school is located here. I have found that many districts have concentrated types of stores, and the 3rd district is filled with accessories. There are numerous stores here selling hats, jewelry, bags and scarves.
This is the courtyard where the CEA is located. CEA offers exchange programs for students all around the world. Because of CEA, we are lucky enough to spend the summer in Paris!
CEA: Interesting Site

Eglise Saint Nicolas des Champs: Architectural Object
This church, Eglise Saint Nicolas des Champs, originally dates back to the 12th century. One of the organists who played at Nicolas des Champs was Louis Braille, the inventor of the braille system of reading and writing for the visually impaired. Previously, we had seen Braille's grave in the crypt of the Pantheon.

Musée d'art et d'histoire du Judaisme: Tourist Attraction
The Musée d'art et d'histoire du Judaisme is located close to the CEA. We pass this museum on the way to school each day. The museum contains history and art of Jewish people and communities throughout Europe and North Africa clear back to the Middle Ages.
We stumbled upon this small cafe on a sweet little street. They serve food and there were cats inside! I'm not sure if this is a health hazard, but it looked like a nice place to sit and pet a cat.
Strada Café: Commercial Business
We also were lucky enough to find this cute little coffee shop, Strada Café. It has speedy wifi and delicious coffee!
One of my favorite things about this neighborhood is all the street art! I have been enjoying seeing street art all over Paris, and the 3rd district is full of some beautiful surprises.

Hotel de Roubaix: Two Star Hotel
Hotel de Roubaix is a Two Star Hotel with double rooms starting at 70 Euros. My sister and I are staying here for a night in between trips in just over a week!
